Eaglenet Wireless Access

Wireless Access:
Wireless Internet Access is available in the library for both Dorm students and Commuter students. Commuter students may connect a wireless capable laptop to the network to access the internet.

 
To set up your laptop for public wireless access you will need an 802.11b/g/n compatible network card, Internet Explorer 8.0 or higher and your network username and password.

There are three steps to access the internet via the wireless.

Step 1 - Configure your wireless SSID for "Eaglenet” or do a search for available net
works and choose " Eaglenet”

Step 2 - Login to the internet access page
  • Connect to an internet web page.
  • You should be redirected to the "Internet Access Logon Page”
  • Type in your lastname.firstname for username.
  • Type in your password.
  • You should be redirected to the "You are Connected to the Internet
Step 3 - Connect with Websense filtering service
  • Type in the "URL” for an external web page in the main browser window.
  • You should be prompted for your username and password.
  • Type in your lastname.firstname for username.
  • Type in your password.
  • Click OK
